Responsibilities include: * Conduct business development initiatives with a focus on growing our higher education, healthcare, corporate office, mixed use and industrial markets. * Hands-on involvement in the design process and relatable billable hour responsibilities. * Lead and manage projects including setting priorities and developing objectives, and project financial management. * Client management, including abilities to make fluent presentations, contract negotiations and client development activities. Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and collaborating with internal team members is necessary. * The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team. * Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced multi-discipline environment. * Being adaptable in an ever-changing industry. Business Development Leader minimum qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, urban planning or landscape architecture. * A minimum of 8 years of experience developing and managing a technical market or business development, along with selling technical services to architectural and municipal clients in WI. * Established architectural relationships strongly preferred. * Technical project management experience is desired. * Professional PE or AICP PLA license. * Success in business development planning, including developing strategic business plans, marketing activities, client development, presentation experience and proposal development. * Proven leadership experience is highly preferred.
