We are looking for a Retail Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store's profitability. Our pay is base at $19 and hour plus commissions. your hourly can get bumped based on performance within the first couple of months. Our sales position makes aroun$24-$26 an hour WITH commission. Schedule: Thursdays 10:30-7, Fridays 10:30-3:30, Saturdays 10:30-3:30, Sundays 10-6, Mondays 10:30-6:30. You are offered 1 weekend off a month but it is not mandatory that you take it. We are looking for someone who has open availability and is a weekend warrior! We are a small but mighty team and the perfect candidate can pick up shifts where needed, or switch with team members so everyone has a chance to get a break, and available for 90% of the weekends during the summer. Responsibilities * Greet and direct customers * Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services) * Answer customers' questions about specific products/services * Cross-sell products * Ensure racks are fully stocked * Manage returns of merchandise * Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times) * Inform customers about discounts and special offers * Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager * Stay up-to-date with new products/services Skills * Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role * Understanding of the retail sales process * Familiarity with consumer behavior principles * Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures * Basic math skills * Track record of achieving sales quotas * Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships * Ability to perform in fast-paced environments * Flexibility to work various shifts * High school degree Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 - 36 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift Work Location: In person
