We are a renowned family bakery known for our delectable baked goods and commitment to quality. We are currently seeking a motivated and customer- oriented Sales Representative to join our team and represent our bakery at local farmers markets. If you have a passion for sales, love interacting with people, and enjoy the aroma of freshly baked goods, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Even better if you like to know where your food comes from. Responsibilities: * Act as the face of our bakery at farmers markets, showcasing our products and engaging with potential customers. Setting up and tearing downs the booth daily. * Proactively approach customers, provide product information, and offer samples to generate interest and drive sales. * Utilize persuasive selling techniques to promote our baked goods and upsell to increase average transaction value. * Maintain a clean and organized booth, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and restocked as needed. * Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and accountability. * Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. * Collaborate with the bakery team to gather feedback on customer preferences and trends to improve product offerings and sales strategies. Requirements: * Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a food-related environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and connect with customers. * Strong sales acumen, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable products. * Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude. * Availability to work weekends, as farmers markets are held during those times. * A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the bakery and the physical ability to set up, maintain and break down the booth.
