Schock Boats is the established Southern California boat dealership and brokerage for Grady White boats and Jeanneau Outboard Power boats. We have been putting boats and families together for over 75 years! Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic boat and yacht Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth for both brands, building lasting customer relationships, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our clients. Customer service is our number one goal. Duties * Engage with customers to understand their boating and yachting needs and provide a tailored boat buying experience. * Demonstrate product features and benefits to encourage purchases. * Maintain an in-depth knowledge and be an expert of the Grady White and Jeanneau Outboard product lines. * Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the dealer management system. * Manage the sales and delivery process, including coordinating with service department and external subcontractors as needed. * Follow up with and manage customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction, foster loyalty and make sure they are comfortable in their boat or yacht. We work hard to keep customers out of the shop and on the water. * Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and enhance store performance. * Assist in obtaining content and photography for online social media and marketing efforts. * Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally. * Participate in events such as boat shows, open houses and other boating and yachting events. Qualifications * Proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn about new products. * Ability to study inventory and competitor inventory to become an industry expert in the brands that we represent. * Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. * A positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed in a sales-driven role. * Knowledge and experience with boats, yachts and the boating lifestyle. * CYBA brokerage license a plus.
