Eataly is not a chain; each Eataly is different, with its own character and own theme - but all with the same aim... for our guests to: * EAT authentic Italian food at our restaurants, cafes and to-go counters * SHOP a selection of high-quality Italian, local and homemade products * LEARN through our classes and our team's product knowledge Job Description The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and making suggestions. Reports to the Beverage Managers. * Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guest service * Educates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly * Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices * Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise * Executes La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes under the direction of the Beverage Director * Sets up for each class including rolling silverware, setting places and gathering materials * Checks in guests and introduces classes * Opens wine and pours for guests * Describes flavor profile, pairing detail and winery information * Breaks down after each class * Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Wine sale experience * Italian wine knowledge preferred Job Requirements * Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects * Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours * Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred Additional Information * Benefits and Perks * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance * Paid Time Off * Paid Parental Leave * 401K with match or RRSP * Bonus program * Free family meal daily * Discounts at Eataly * Classes on products and Italian cuisine * Referral bonus program * and more!
