Machine Shop Sales Representative Well-established, and highly reputable machine shop company, with over 20 years of experience, has an opportunity for you contribute to the strategic development of this organization. Reporting to the sales manager, the sales representative will be responsible for building relationships with individuals and companies in the community, via cold calling, and following up on company generated leads, to ultimately maximize business. We offer a generous base salary plus benefits. Essential Job Responsibilities Identify and connect with potential customers to promote and sell fiber laser cutting machines. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Understand customer needs and provide solutions that align with our product offerings. Communicate effectively with customers, providing product demonstrations and detailed information about the benefits and features of our fiber laser cutting machines. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to effectively position our offerings in the market. Prepare and present sales reports to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Maintain a strong understanding of the steel raw material market and anticipate cost fluctuations. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on products and services. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams. Essential Qualifications Previous outside sales experience within the machine shop industry. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment Demonstrated capacity to think "outside the box", educate and motivate customers on the company's products, programs and new ideas Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation Our company is an equal opportunity employer with a drug-free workplace.
