The company is looking for an experienced, talented individual to function as a Business Development Account Manager I. Job Purpose: Effectively manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts valued at up to $3.5 million annually within the supplement manufacturing industry. This entry-level sales position is key to maintaining strong client relationships, supporting account expansion, and contributing to new business acquisition efforts. This role requires the individual to leverage their sales experience, client-focused approach, and business development skills to drive success. Proficiency in HubSpot CRM and familiarity with NetSuite ERP are desirable to streamline account management and reporting processes, enabling the candidate to support both current and prospective clients efficiently. Essential Duties: Client Relationship Management * Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients by understanding their needs and providing personalized service. * Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback. * Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction and discover opportunities for growth. * Provide consistent, high-quality customer service to retain clients and foster long-term partnerships. * Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and tradeshows to enhance client connections and identify new leads. Account Management * Manage a portfolio of accounts valued at up to $3.5M annually, ensuring retention, incremental growth, and alignment with company goals. * Support account renewal processes, including pricing discussions, contract updates, and compliance tracking. * Monitor account performance metrics and share insights with senior sales team members to refine strategies and inform decision-making. New Business Support * Assist in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in assigned territories or markets. * Conduct market research to identify prospective clients and generate qualified leads. * Collaborate with senior sales representatives to prepare and present sales proposals and support the client's onboarding process. * Contribute to upselling and cross-selling initiatives by identifying additional product and service opportunities for existing clients. Sales Reporting and Tools * Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress effectively. * Leverage NetSuite ERP for reporting, account analysis, and operational efficiency. * Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities and provide regular updates to leadership on account performance and opportunities. Collaboration and Learning * Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, marketing, and quality assurance, to ensure client requirements are met. * Participate in team meetings, share insights and challenges to support a collaborative environment. * Stay informed about market trends, client needs, and internal processes to continuously enhance personal and team effectiveness. * Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build relationships and expand professional knowledge. Qualifications and Skills: Technical Skills: * Proficiency in HubSpot CRM for pipeline management, reporting, and client communications. * Familiarity with NetSuite ERP for account management and operational efficiency. * Basic understanding of sales forecasting, data analysis, and performance metrics.
