Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with sales, stock management, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register. * Handle cash transactions responsibly and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory. * Assist with visual merchandising to create an appealing shopping environment. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere. * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through strategic prospecting, leveraging some cold calls, emails and networking to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong basic math skills, including retail math, to manage transactions effectively. * Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. * Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
