Full description of the position
Every sales professional wants to work for an industry leader. Now is your chance as Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT) is hiring a Sales Business Partner for the Fireplace Business Unit in covering the Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming territory. A Sales Career You Can Grow In this role, you will support the vision and goals of HHT by managing the markets within your geography and achieving key metric goals and assigned activities. You will assist channel partners in identifying and prioritizing your market opportunities. All of our sales professionals benefit from autonomy and a culture that stresses continuous improvement. What you will do: * Generate new business and ensure unit growth of channel partner accounts in both the new and existing home markets. * Manage assigned brands and markets to effectively exceed key metric goals and grow HHT share and the overall market size for the hearth category. * Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners to assure long-term growth and commitment to HHT being preferred vendor of choice. * Execute on assigned activities to drive customer behaviors to align with HHT's sales and strategic plan. * Effectively deliver training, marketing programs, strategic initiatives, and product expertise to channel partners. * Partner with architects, designers, and builders to support national builder programs, A&D initiatives, and specifications. * Work trade shows and events as necessary to drive growth and key initiatives. * Develop deep understanding of assigned market including competitive manufacturers, competitive channel partners, local/national codes and changing dynamics that impact the hearth business. * Partner with leadership to develop strategies that will continue to improve HHT's position in the market. * Propose pricing requests as necessary to drive profitable growth. * Effectively run the sales process and standard work of the assigned role. Position Requirements * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * 3 or more years professional B2B sales experience; residential construction experience preferred * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Effective presentation skills * Demonstrated success in account management and prioritizing opportunities * Computer proficiency, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and customer relationship management systems * Self-motivated, demonstrated passion for success * Strong time management skills and effectively manage a prioritized action plan * Ability to work through/influence channel partner owners, operations, and sales team * Strong financial acumen to support channel partner profit propositions and aggressive profitable growth Competitive compensation, including base salary, and monthly incentives: * Salary range is $70,000 - $75,000 + Incentive of $55k In addition to your salary, Hearth & Home Technologies offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
