Job Title: Flooring Sales Specialist Reports to: Store Manager Department: Sales Position Type: Full time Due to the large number of applicants only those selected for an interview will be contacted. No phone calls, please.

Job Summary

: This position is responsible for welcoming customers as they enter the store. Assist customers with flooring selections and follow through with sales and service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

:

• Work with customers to determine flooring needs
• Gives additional product features and benefits when needed
• Accept and process customer's payments
• Write sales orders, issues samples, provide estimates
• Work with installations team to schedule jobs
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned Skills and Abilities:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Sound judgment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Build, maintain, and foster strong relationships
• Basic skill level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Organized and capable of handling high volume of interactions with all departments
• Ability to multi-task various processes and projects
• Must have effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

:

• Flooring sales experience a PLUS
• Self motivator
• Customer service oriented
• Previous sales experience is a plus

:

• Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment

Requirements

:

• Sitting for extended periods of time

• Minimal lifting up to 25lbs.
• Local driving Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
