Catering Coordinator Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Catering Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for seeking, planning, organizing, and executing catering events while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication, and sales skills. The ability to analyze market trends to enhance our catering services. The Catering Coordinator will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver memorable dining experiences. Duties * Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, logistics, and staffing. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and preferences. * Conduct cold calling to generate new business opportunities and expand our client base. * Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in catering services. * Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that align with client expectations. * Manage event timelines and ensure all details are executed flawlessly on the day of the event. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. * Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and event details. Skills * Strong sales skills with experience in outside sales or direct sales preferred. * Proficiency in technology sales and software applications related to event management. * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships. * Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
