Do you love music? Do you enjoy helping others? Are you positive, friendly, and upbeat? We are a small, family-owned music shop and school that's been part of the community since 1973. Centre Music House is looking for a caring, hard-working musician with customer service experience to join our team and help create a more musical world. As a Sales Associate, your mission is to help with the daily operations of our store and music school. You'll play a key role in assisting customers, supporting students and teachers, and maintaining a clean and organized space. Responsibilities: * Sign students up for music lessons and manage scheduling * Greet and assist customers and students in-store and over the phone * Rent, sell, and coordinate repairs for musical instruments * Maintain inventory displays and ensure they are fully stocked and tagged * Create product listings for new and used gear * Handle transactions including purchases, rentals, returns, and exchanges * Support teachers and students during lesson hours * Contribute to overall cleanliness and safety of the space You'll Be a Great Fit If You: * Enjoy helping others and building relationships * Stay calm and organized when juggling tasks * Have strong communication skills with both kids and adults * Work well as part of a small, collaborative team * Have an eye for detail and take pride in doing things right * Understand basic music terminology and instruments Required Qualifications: * 18 years or older * Experience in retail, customer service, and/or sales * Proficient in at least one musical instrument * Comfortable using basic tech tools (email, spreadsheets, POS systems) * Strong written and verbal communication * Available year-round (no seasonal roles) * Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required Benefits: * $20/hour starting pay * Paid holidays, sick time, and vacation * Discounts on instruments, accessories, and lessons * Supportive, music-loving team environment About Centre Music House We've been helping the Framingham community make music for over 50 years.
