Do you love music? Do you enjoy helping others? Are you positive, friendly, and upbeat? We are a small, family-owned music shop and school that's been part of the community since 1973. Centre Music House is looking for a caring, hard-working musician with customer service experience to join our team and help create a more musical world. As a Sales Associate, your mission is to help with the daily operations of our store and music school. You'll play a key role in assisting customers, supporting students and teachers, and maintaining a clean and organized space. Responsibilities

:

• Sign students up for music lessons and manage scheduling
• Greet and assist customers and students in-store and over the phone
• Rent, sell, and coordinate repairs for musical instruments
• Maintain inventory displays and ensure they are fully stocked and tagged
• Create product listings for new and used gear
• Handle transactions including purchases, rentals, returns, and exchanges
• Support teachers and students during lesson hours
• Contribute to overall cleanliness and safety of the space You'll Be a Great Fit If You:

Required Qualifications

:

• 18 years or older
• Experience in retail, customer service, and/or sales
• Proficient in at least one musical instrument
• Comfortable using basic tech tools (email, spreadsheets, POS systems)
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Available year-round (no seasonal roles)
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
