Inside Sales - Building Materials Basic Function: Responsible for working cooperatively with two to three Outside Sales Representatives, Management, Estimating, Engineering and Credit departments as well the Distribution Center to provide exceptional customer service to our existing customers and help create new customers with the objective of increasing margin, meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas for each assigned Outside Sales Representative, and increasing customer satisfaction. Candidates must have: * Ability to Multi-Task and Prioritize * Understanding of supply & demand in the Building Materials industry * Experience with Window manufacturing software helpful (Jeld-Wen, Andersen, Marvin) * Bistrack Point of Sale system experience a plus * Ability to interact positively with co-workers & clientele Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: * Basic computer skills and knowledge of Bistrack. Other programs will include Saberis, Andersen IQ, Kas-Kel Simplicity Plus, Marvin OMS, and Jeld-Wen Quick Quote * Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Ability to do math, read orders, follow instructions * Ability to communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills * Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills and telephone etiquette * Ability to work independently, with little direct supervision, while meeting deadlines and objectives * Responsible for handling all aspects of an order process including non-stock items with our various suppliers * Create quotes and submit orders through various window & door software.
