Fashion Accessories Wholesaler Showroom/Sales Assistant A growing wholesale fashion accessories company located in the heart of the NYC garment district seeks a committed, outgoing, and energetic person with a great attitude to join our team as a full time Sales and Showroom Assistant. Candidate must be able to support a very busy and dynamic but small sized office and possess excellent time management and problem solving skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. Candidate assist our sales team by photographing samples and creating customer linesheets, style numbers and sales orders Candidate will also receive, process and distribute all incoming samples as well as send out outgoing samples. This is a FULL-TIME position that also offers a great hands-on learning experience in the fashion industry. Any prior sales/showroom assistant experience a plus. Responsibilities include: - Sales assistance -preparing line sheets and samples following customer meetings -Receiving, recording and distributing incoming packages -Processing and inputting samples into our database, photographing samples - Show room management/upkeep - visual merchandising/setting up showroom before meetings, reorganizing after meetings - Fashion/Sample closet organization and upkeep -Occasional filing/paperwork organization/data entry -Office supplies management/organization - Assisting other team members in various fashion related projects when needed The ideal candidate will be: - Highly organized - Punctual - Proactive - Professional - Outgoing and ambitious team player - Great at multitasking - Able to interact with all levels of management, clients and guests. - Experienced with MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). Experience with ERP systems a plus. -Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator a plus - Interested and experienced in the fashion industry This is an entry level position with a tremendous learning opportunity. 1 - 2 years work experience preferred. .
