Business Development Manager Sprung Instant Structures Inc. ([please apply online] is a member of the Sprung Group of Companies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities We are currently seeking an individual to take on the position of Business Development Manager at our USA Headquarters in West Jordan, Utah. A Business Development Manager is meticulously attentive to a client's potential needs and is tremendously goal oriented. Representing the Sprung brand takes dedication, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work together as a team. As a Business Development Manager, you challenge the norm and think creatively, not just to obtain the sale, but to formulate lasting relationships with potential clients. Primary duties will include but are not limited to. * Identify leads and opportunities to increase brand awareness. * Someone that is used to developing relationships thought prospecting and networking. * Connect with new and existing clients to discuss needs and prospects. * Manage projects in Salesforce. * Develop and maintain tracking system to meet goals & objectives set. Other duties may include delivering lunch and learn events, participating in trade shows and remaining hands on with prospective clients from inception to completion and beyond. Qualifications * Must have 5-10 years professional sales experience with long-lead time product an asset. * An extensive network and networking capabilities are essential. * Tech-savvy, with Salesforce experience an asset. * Some construction industry background is an asset. Soft Skills * Must have the self-motivation to cold call new clients confidently. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with commercial and industrial clients. * Exceptional time-management skills to ensure all leads are timely followed up on. Job Type: Full-time, permanent (subject to a ninety (90) day probationary period) Salary: 1% and 3% commission on sales. Business Development Managers also earn a 0.33% shared incentive on all territory sales. Plus, potential yearend bonus when reaching certain sales levels on our President List . Willingness to Travel: The successful candidate should anticipate 30% travel time within the assigned territory and reimburse expenses every two weeks. Our office is responsible for 10 US States, this position will be responsible for 2-3 States including sharing Utah. Our entire office and plant were recently renovated so our environment is new, clean, open and exciting. It is the best office to work out of in the company.
