MUST HAVE PROVEN STRONG SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE IN HOTELS and or RESORTS- and EVENTS- AI core competencies preferred. Tech savvy- social media core competencies required. Flexible schedule- must have proven track record- willing to hire a candidate with some experience and negotiate compensation accordingly; seeking a determined stable employee. Social Media skill set is also required. Must have college degree with a minimum 3-5 years experience in the hospitality business or events or transferable success in other industry . Summary In the role of Business Development Specialist - Hotels and Events, you will be pivotal in driving sales and fostering relationships within the hospitality sector. Reporting to the General Manager you will leverage your core skills in negotiation and customer service to enhance client satisfaction and boost revenue. Your premium expertise in outside sales and account management will be essential in identifying new business opportunities and managing existing accounts. Additionally, your familiarity with social media management and AI technologies will support innovative marketing strategies, positioning our organization as a leader in the industry. Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
