Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer focused Inside Sales Representative to join our freight forwarding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, supporting the external sales team, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires a solid understanding of international shipping and logistics processes (air, ocean, and ground freight), and the ability to offer tailored transport solutions. Freight Forwarding Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities Include: * Promote the company's full suite of logistics services * Develop new sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and existing network. * Prepare and submit accurate and competitive quotations to clients, ensuring alignment with SKY2C's pricing and service standards * Follow up with new clients and operations to ensure seamless implementation when onboarding * Maintain up-to-date CRM records and produce regular sales activity reports. * Provide excellent communication support for sales calls and manage follow-up * Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management. Experience: * Minimum 3 years of Inside and/or Field Sales experience in major Freight Forwarding & NVOCC companies * Computer literate * Knowledge: Understanding of Incoterms, NVOCC operations, international trade lanes, LCL/FCL, and customs brokerage. * Excellent communication/organization/presentation skills * Proven track record, existing clientele is a plus * Must have full knowledge of Import and Export operations (previous Import Operations work experience is a plus) Skills & Competencies: * Strong interest in sales and marketing, with a desire to learn and grow in these fields. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM tools or marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics) is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. * Creative thinking and ability to contribute new ideas to marketing campaigns. Personality & Traits: * Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Comfortable with fast-paced environments and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
