MOBILITY CITY CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE Job Summary: Mobility City is the preeminent mobility equipment repair company in the US today. Similar to AAA, we provide service to veterans, seniors and the physically challenged via our mobile service vans, fixing equipment like wheelchairs, mobility scooters, hospital beds, walkers and lift chairs. We also sell and rent new equipment in our beautiful retail showrooms. We're looking for a person with an outgoing personality, a positive attitude and a desire to help customers "get going again" to serve as a part-time Sales Associate in our Littleton showroom. Your primary role as our "first point of contact" is to relieve customer anxiety and provide a solution for them by answering the phone with a compassionate voice, showing interest in them and their challenges, providing accurate product information, scheduling their appointment and processing their payment. We will train you how to accomplish these important functions and how to work closely with our service technicians to keep them organized, on time and the customer aware. You will be responsible for all completed service order paperwork. Individuals with a strong work ethic, a desire to help others and excellent organizational and communication skills should apply. We pay a starting base hourly rate of $16.00 - $20.00, depending on experience. Other benefits may be available. We require a clean background check and you must have your own transportation. Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities: * Assist in showroom providing excellent customer service with respect to solving customers challenges. Make proper recommendations for equipment solutions. * Share the features and benefits of equipment and provide recommendations for solutions. * Instruct customer on proper use and maintenance of equipment. Ensure proper fitment. * Offer customers peace of mind by selling Extended Warranties. * Follow up on web leads (forms submissions) within 15 minutes of receipt. * Answer the phones promptly. Respond to questions, make recommendations, and process credit cards to confirm orders. * Enter all sales in Method, our customer relationship management system, capturing all customer information and processing payment. * Ensure Method is updated with respect to rental fleet status and customer information. * Pursue 5-star Google reviews utilizing Avochato software. Other Duties and Responsibilities: * Participate in continuing education/training in-services relative to products that Mobility City sells, deliveries, and services. * Maintain showroom appearance through proper merchandising and cleaning procedures. * Ensure all equipment is fully charged at all times. Minimum Qualifications: Required: * High School diploma or GED. * Current valid driver's license. * Pass criminal background check. Skills Required: * Communication and interpersonal skills for frequent contact with customers as well as stakeholders external to Mobility City. Ability to persuade or negotiate on a wide range of subjects in situations which may be controversial, sensitive and/or lead to confrontation. * A mastery of a variety of communication skills is required to include selling skills, making formal recommendations, and use of technology. Also working with manufacturer customer service teams as necessary. * Leadership skills including demonstrated willingness to pursue opportunities/roles with increasing levels of accountability. Comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others (including customers and stakeholders). * Proficiency in the use of personal computers, demonstrated competence with word processing, database, and spreadsheet software. * Analytical ability used to occasionally diagnose/troubleshoot problems with mobility equipment. Evaluate moderate to complex electrical components/systems and determine cause of issue and determine solution. Preferred Skills: Previous manufacturer's training and certification in durable medical equipment products sold and serviced by Mobility City. Ability to climb ladders. * Ability to frequently communicate with customers, families, co-workers, etc. Must be able to exchange accurate information in given situations. * Attention to detail to follow up inventory and parts orders, proper pricing of equipment and following all processes without exception. * A positive outlook and attitude at all times in the face of those who may be experiencing difficult situations or conditions.
