Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every shopper has a positive experience. You will assist customers in selecting products, managing inventory, and maintaining an organized store environment. If you enjoy working with people, we want to hear from you! Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product tasting. * Utilize retail math skills to manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory counts. * Operate the cash register and process transactions efficiently using POS systems. * Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and displays. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries about products and promotions. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Familiarity with wine and liquor sales are a plus. * Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems. * Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management. * Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
