Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will play a key role in driving sales and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Duties * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions. * Perform retail math calculations to assist customers with pricing inquiries and discounts. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer interest. * Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise. * Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations. * Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback. Skills * Proficient in cash register operations and POS systems. * Strong understanding of retail math principles for accurate transaction processing. * Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. * Ability to conduct engaging product demos that highlight key features. * Proven upselling techniques that drive additional sales opportunities. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases. * Strong selling skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building. * Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is beneficial, fostering teamwork within the store. * Capability to manage stock levels effectively, ensuring product availability for customers.
