Job Summary Mid Country Machinery LLC is a premier heavy equipment dealership dedicated to providing sales, rentals, and service to the construction industries within our 5 locations across Iowa. With a strong presence in the Midwest, we are seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Representative out of our Bondurant, IA location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base within the Des Moines area along with additional surrounding counties. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for equipment sales. Your primary focus will be to build relationships with clients, conduct product demonstrations, and drive sales growth in your territory. Pay range ranging from approximately $75,000-$150,000, that includes base plus commission potential. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers within your assigned territory to grow your customer base and achieve sales goals. * Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling. * Building strong relationships with customers, understanding their equipment needs and providing tailored solutions. * Perform product demonstrations and present new and used equipment to customers. * Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. * Collaborate with the sales management team to strategize on territory growth initiatives. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance in CRM. * Attend industry events and trade shows to promote MCM's brands and products. Qualifications * 2+ years of proven sales experience in inside sales or outside sales roles within the construction equipment industry. * Product knowledge of construction or agricultural equipment a strong plus. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. * Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully. * Ability to analyze market data and identify trends that can impact sales strategies. * Experience in territory management with a focus on achieving sales targets. * Familiarity with conducting product demos effectively to engage customers. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Join us as we expand our reach in the market while delivering exceptional value to our customers!
