Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Operate cash registers and POS systems for processing transactions efficiently. * Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively upsell items. * Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a well-presented shopping environment. * Assist with inventory management, including restocking and conducting regular stock checks. * Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding customer feedback and store operations. * Provide assistance in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic retail math is beneficial. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively. * A proactive attitude towards upselling products and enhancing customer satisfaction.
