Inside Sales Assistant

Job Summary

: The Inside Sales Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.

Duties

/

Responsibilities

:

• Assist with creating proposals
• Write orders
• Assist the Inside Sales Team as assigned
• Research current pricing from vendors
• Assist with data entry
• Process cad drawings for pattern cutting Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is a HUGE plus
• Experience with AutoCAD or other cad software is preferred.

Education and Experience

:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• Education in Mechanical Engineering or related field is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication. Physical

:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
