• Tree & Plant Health Care Sales Manager,
• a key role in our expanding Plant Health Care (PHC) program. We are seeking a dedicated individual with expertise in arboriculture and sales to develop customized solution for our clients' trees and shrubs in Moore County, NC. Responsibilities

:

• Oversee all aspects of the plant health care management program, including sales, inspections, treatments, inventories, equipment maintenance, record-keeping and customer relations.
• Conduct evaluations, develop PHC estimates, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate treatments for pests, diseases, and cultural conditions affecting trees and shrubs.
• Create estimates for tree removal, pruning, cabling and tree care services, including planning work orders for the crew.
• Operate and maintain various types of equipment efficiently.
• Work alongside the tree card crew to ensure full-time employment, particularly during the winter season.
• Preform additional tasks as assigned by the company manager.

Qualifications

:

• Prior experience in the tree care and plant health care industry is required.
• ISA certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of species-specific insect, disease and cultural tending practices is beneficial but not required.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.
• Knowledgeable in tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management, and industry-approve tree care practices.
• Strong ability to develop sales opportunities, expand client relationships, and generate new business.
