Tile Outlets of America operates three tile and stone warehouse superstores in Florida: Fort Myers, Sarasota and Tampa. As of 9/1/2016, we are employee-owned. We are always seeking sales associates with a passion for customers, an eye for design and knowledge of tile, stone and more. You'll find detail on that and two other positions we frequently have openings for below. Our stores range from 28,000 to 45,000 square feet of retail sales space stocked with first quality porcelain and ceramic tile, marble, travertine, cabinetry and vanities along with a full complement of medallions, mosaics, liners and other decorative items. The stores also carry all materials and tools needed to complete an installation. We pride ourselves on combining a broad selection of flooring and home renovation products under one roof with everyday low prices and exceptional customer service. We believe strongly in helping the dreams of our customers become reality... for a whole lot less! Although we may sell building materials, our passion and purpose is actually helping people make their homes more beautiful. Tile & Stone Sales Associate Positions As a sales associate you will be responsible for assisting all customers who frequent the store. The sales process is a consultative one in which you will determine customers' needs and level of knowledge and then assist them in picking out the products that best meet their needs. Our customers include homeowners, builders, interior designers, and tile and stone contractors and installers. Sales Associates report to the General Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers. Although previous retail floor covering experience or an interior design background is a plus, we will train the right people with the right attitude. You must have the desire to become an expert and we will provide you with the necessary training. We are open 7 days a week so you will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
