job Summary: The Seafood Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing accounts, and promoting our seafood products to a range of clients, including restaurants, grocery chains, distributors, and specialty markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the seafood industry, strong relationship- building skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory or market segments.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Present, promote, and sell seafood products to existing and prospective customers.
• Educate clients on our product lines, sourcing practices, and quality standards.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, and customer service) to ensure smooth fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities as needed.

Qualifications

:

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the seafood, food, or hospitality industries.
• Knowledge of seafood species, market trends, and sustainability practices is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally as required. Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
• Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably with seafood or perishable products.
