Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment, specifically within a grocery store setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engaging with customers, showcasing products, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Duties

• Identify and target potential clients.
• Conduct cold calls, in-person visits, and online outreach to build new business relationships.
• Maintain and nurture existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Develop expert knowledge of the company's janitorial and sanitation products (e.g., disinfectants, paper goods, cleaning equipment).
• Provide product demonstrations and training to clients as needed.
• Educate customers on product usage, safety data sheets (SDS), and eco-friendly options.
• Negotiate pricing and terms in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and threats.
• Provide feedback to management on product gaps, customer needs, and industry developments.
• Resolve complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Manage an assigned sales territory efficiently, including travel planning and route optimization.
• Keep up-to-date documentation for contracts, SDS, and sales activity.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding sales goals, inventory levels, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in Business-to-Business environments or distribution of janitorial, sanitation, or industrial products.
• Experience working with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace). Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques and the ability to close deals effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical product features clearly to non-technical customers.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Personal Attributes:
