OUR COMPANY Join a team of health and fitness-inspired medical professionals who work hand-in-hand with our patients to help them achieve their weight loss and wellness goals. We are constantly learning new concepts and discovering new ways to assist our clients through diet counseling, supplementation, and medication. Our team of Patient care coordinators, Nutrition and wellness coaches, Hormone therapy coordinators, Nurse practitioners, and Physicians collaborate to provide multi-faceted advice and support to our patients. Our services range from weekly check-ins with a Nutrition and wellness coach to assess progress and fine-tune one's diet to biannual face-to-face consults with a Physician to review lab work in order to improve quality of life, mood, or hormonal deficiencies. We strive to provide the best level of customer service possible. In order to do this, we always attempt to constantly communicate to the best of our ability, to be professionally intimate, to be compassionate for our patients needs and struggles, and to be relentless in our pursuit of solving each of our patients' unique problems. THIS POSITION Our Nutrition and Wellness Coaches (NWC) work as a team with our Patient care coordinators and Physicians to treat our weight loss clients and assist them in making healthier diet and lifestyle choices. NWCs specialize in one-on-one communication with all our weight loss clients to assess their current habits, help establish goals, and come up with mutually agreeable steps to get there. NWCs see our patients before each of their monthly doctor appointments to assess their condition, keep them on track, determine what their challenges are, and to give them the guidance and motivation needed to continue their journey. Applicants must be available to work at either clinic location: 2711 Letap Court, Land O Lakes FL 34638 (all shifts here) 14446 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618 (fill in on a rare occasion) .We are looking for a team member to work full days Monday-Thursday. Our office is open Monday through Friday. Tuesday and Wednesday we work till 7pm. Please review our office schedule and include any schedule constraints and your desired work hours in your response. We require candidates to live within a 40-minute commute, including traffic. In our experience, a shorter commute supports a better work-life balance and contributes to long-term employee satisfaction and retention. Bonus pay is part of the hourly compensation. Wellness coaches historically average $23 an hour. IDEAL PERSONALITY TYPE AND QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be a "people person" and want to help others. * Must be a high-energy individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Must possess emotional intelligence, read others effectively, and maintain calmness while controlling their own emotions. * Must be an excellent communicator, able to relay information that caters to the listener while keeping their interest without losing, confusing, or boring them. * Must know how to be an active listener and get others to open up to you. * Must have an advanced understanding of nutrition, supplements, diet, and health fads. * Must be enthusiastic and inspiring about wellness, health, and fitness. * Background in personal training, hospitality, medical, and/or retail sales JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Meet with every weight loss patient in a one-on-one setting to perform a dietary analysis and assist with meal planning. * Help patients set goals for weight loss and then follow up by both holding them accountable and celebrating their successes. * Educate clients and other staff on health and wellness trends and news. * Assist every other team member without being asked. * Promote a friendly and safe work environment. * Will be trained to Administer in-office injections, Take blood pressure, and Perform EKGs. * Document all aspects of each client consult, take meticulous notes, and be Detail- Oriented. * Come to work with an open mind, knowing that some days will be a challenge and that, as a team, we will come together and always provide the best customer service. * Communicate any and all issues with patients and staff with management PLEASE ACCESS THE FOLLOWING LINK FOR THE VIDEO QUSTIONNAIRE: [please apply online] medical-hotworx/wellness-coach Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * Day shift Work Location: Multiple locations
