Job Summary: The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to acquire new clients and expand existing business within the trucking and logistics industry. This role requires a proven track record of success in sales, a deep understanding of the transportation sector, and exceptional relationship-building skills. You will be a key contributor to our growth, working closely with operations and leadership to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities: * Business Development: * Identify and target potential clients through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation. * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets. * Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. * Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop tailored solutions for clients. * Client Relationship Management: * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. * Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert consultation on trucking and logistics solutions. * Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention. * Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally. * Market Analysis and Strategy: * Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. * Provide valuable market feedback to internal teams to improve service offerings. * Contribute to the development of pricing strategies and sales materials. * Sales Operations: * Accurately forecast sales and provide regular progress reports. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM. * Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. * Negotiate contracts and agreements. Qualifications: * Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the trucking, logistics, or transportation industry. * Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets. * Established network of contacts within the industry is highly desirable. * Experience selling to and dealing with large accounts. * Skills: * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Strong understanding of trucking operations, freight management, and logistics solutions. * Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, etc.). * Ability to analyze market data and identify growth opportunities. * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Self motivated and able to work independently. * Education: * Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred). * Personal Attributes: * Highly motivated and results-oriented. * Strong work ethic and integrity. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Customer-centric mindset.
