Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with customers effectively. As a Sales Professional, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service within our grocery store environment. Duties * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. * Utilize retail math to assist customers with pricing inquiries and transactions. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate processing of sales. * Maintain a clean and organized cash register area while managing cash transactions. * Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. * Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns. * Promote store products effectively to maximize sales opportunities. * Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves as required. * Foster a positive shopping experience for all customers through friendly interactions. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly within a grocery store setting. * Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is essential. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for success in this role. * Experience supervising or training staff is a plus but not mandatory.
