Full description of the position

Position Overview: The Office Sales Representative is responsible for following up on unsold estimates provided by technicians in the field. This role focuses on engaging with potential customers, addressing concerns, and ultimately closing sales opportunities that were not secured during the initial visit. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to drive results by nurturing leads and finalizing deals. Key Responsibilities: * Proactively follow up with customers who received estimates but did not purchase services or products during the technician's visit. * Review technician-provided estimates to ensure understanding of the service/product being offered. * Contact customers via phone, email, or other communication channels to answer questions, overcome objections, and encourage them to proceed with the estimate. * Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress in the company CRM. * Work closely with field technicians and other team members to gather insights about the estimates and customer needs. * Provide excellent customer service by understanding customer concerns and offering solutions tailored to their needs. * Achieve or exceed monthly sales and conversion targets. * Continuously identify areas for process improvement to optimize the follow-up and closing process. * Assist in generating additional leads by upselling or cross-selling relevant products or services. Qualifications: * Previous sales experience, preferably in follow-up or inside sales roles. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to build rapport and trust with customers over the phone and in writing. * Proficiency with CRM systems and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace). * Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills. * HVAC, home services, or similar industry experience is a plus.
