Salary is dependent upon location.Responsibilities As a part time Retail Sales Clerk, you will: Use your customer service skills to assist the public.Ensure that all sales are made only to customers 21 and over.Perform cashiering duties.Mark and display product for sale.Contribute to the department's service-focused mission by providing superior customer service.Minimum Requirements 21 years of age or older.Able to lift up to 50 pounds.Able to work a flexible schedule.Able to provide excellent customer service.Able to pass a criminal background check.DABS stores are closed on Sundays and all state and federal holidays. For more information about the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services please visit our website at [please apply online] EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Assist in receiving and storing merchandise.Processes transactions at a cash register, gives correct change and closes till at end of shift.Assists customers in finding products, making selections and purchasing items.Screens for intoxication, checks identification, and watches for shoplifters.Conducts regular and/or spot check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment.Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available. Orders, receives, inspects, and stores equipment, merchandise, commodities, materials, and/or supplies.Receives and fills liquor orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required.Maintains building(s) and/or facilities in a clean and orderly condition and/or removes snow from sidewalks and doorways, etc. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION APPLY IN PERSON AT THE STATE LIQUOR STORE OF YOUR CHOICE. SALARY IS DEPENDENT UPON LOCATION.Work requires physical exertion.
