UBEO Business Services, the premier provider of business technology products and services, is seeking to hire a Sales Trainer to join our team in Sacramento. CA! UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions. Primary products include Canon, Ricoh, Xerox and Konica Minolta multi- functional equipment and Kyocera printers. UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations. Department: Sales Reports To: VP Strategic Planning FLSA Status: Full Time / Exempt Purpose Primarily responsible for providing sales training, mentoring and support to the Sales teams nationally. Will provide training and education from the initial new hire phase to ongoing, continuous sales training. Will develop and implement professional development and training programs. Will also provide training to other team members outside of the sales department to help strengthen and develop their sales skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Prepares new sales representatives by conducting orientation to sales process, develops individual coaching plans, provides resources and assistance, and schedules orientation drive-along's with senior sales representatives. * Conducts exercise sessions for new and current sales employees. * Observes sales encounters and collects feedback and then provides results and performance data of trainees after sessions. * Coordinates with other sales trainers and sales managers. * Structures training plans to meet financial objectives. * Hires and onboards new sales trainees. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications. * Collects feedback from trainees and managers about training courses * Reports on impact of training programs (ie sales achieved) * Creates, selects and develops curriculum and other resources for training programs. * Maintains updated records on training materials, curriculum and costs Supervision Supervised Contacts Internal: Exempt, Non-Exempt External: Prospective Customers, Current Customers, Vendors Job Related Dimensions * Proficient in all MS Office products Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience * 2-4 years industry experience preferred. * Strong customer service skills. * Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. * Proficient in all MS Office Products - Word, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint. * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. * Must be a self-motivated individual with a high level of professionalism and accountability. * Must have an acceptable driving record and reliable form of transportation. Physical Demands & Work Environment * Ability to sit at desk or stand/walk at customer sites for prolonged periods at times. * Ability to talk on the phone and work with various computer tools and applications. * Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms. * Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel to client sites. * Ability to lift 20+lbs on occasion.
