Corrigan Logistics is looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative to help increase our Commercial Sales opportunities. This individual will identify new business prospects and qualify sales leads. This role acts as a liaison between our sales and marketing teams. This would be Part-Time: Monday - Friday from 9 am - 2 pm, daily at our Farmington Hills, MI location. (Could turn Full-Time for the right person) At Corrigan Logistics we have 95 years of experience executing commercial moving services. We have expertly relocated companies in different sectors, industry-related equipment, and government administrations. We offer various services to commercial based clients that include Project Management, Office Moving, Decommissioning, Installation, Warehousing and Asset Management. Requirements
:
- Proven work experience was a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role
- Experience with CRM software, Salesforce preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to following scripting and overcome objections
- Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills Business Development Representative
Responsibilities
:
- Prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads,
- Identify prospective customers needs by using probing questions and various other information gathering techniques
- Educate prospects by providing information about the company and services offered
- Build relationships with prospects but nurturing them throughout the sales process, addressing questions and concerns and understanding needs
- Utilize and maintain the CRM to make sure the sales team can access current information on all leads
- Work within specific geography to find new business opportunities with internet and market research
- Set up meetings or calls between the sales representatives and the prospective client, once qualified
- Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, updating as needed Business Development Representative
