Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will be responsible for ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's positive atmosphere while handling transactions accurately and efficiently.

Duties

• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining the cleanliness of the checkout area.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
• Participate in product demonstrations and promotions as needed to enhance customer engagement.
• Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Experience with product demos is beneficial but not required.
