Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will be responsible for ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's positive atmosphere while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Duties * Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. * Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively. * Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies. * Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining the cleanliness of the checkout area. * Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store. * Participate in product demonstrations and promotions as needed to enhance customer engagement. * Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. * Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. * Experience with product demos is beneficial but not required. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
