Platt Builders is a multiple award-winning, high-end residential builder and millwork company providing fine quality renovations, custom cabinetry, and new home construction for discerning clientele since 1992. Family-owned and operated for over 30 years, we have become well-known for our expert craftsmanship, attention to detail, and customer service. We are an established company growing at a steady pace. We are looking to add an experienced Estimator to our team. You will be responsible for supporting our sales team with detailed and well-organized estimates of luxury residential home renovation/construction projects in the western suburbs and Route 2 corridor. This important role reports directly to the Director of Sales. Your job is to review proposal specifications and construction drawings, determine job scope of work, perform take-offs and organize sub-contractor quotes, and assemble an accurate estimate in a timely manner. We demand that our customers receive the highest level of service, integrity, and value. Qualifications

• Construction background and knowledge of remodeling process
• Minimum 1-year residential construction estimating experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design and architectural drawings
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Computer skills: MS Office including advanced skills in Excel, Plan Swift, or similar take-off software
