Responsibilities of a Business Development Trainee: * Assist in supporting the sales and customer service team in preparing and executing sales pitches and taking customer service appointments face to face * Conduct on the ground market research to understand industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to best strategize business development opportunities * Support the development and execution of sales and client relations strategies to generate leads and expand the business * Attend all team meetings with clients and senior management staff to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement * Shadow senior business development staff as they carry out their daily duties to ensure a thorough and well-rounded understanding of business operations Qualifications of a Business Development Trainee: * A bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred * Previous experience in business development, sales, and/or customer service is a plus * Self-motivated, proactive individuals eager to take initiative when needed * Detail-oriented individuals able to prioritize tasks effectively * Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people Job Type: Full-time Pay: $64,523.00 - $73,818.00 per year Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
