Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Provide knowledgeable product recommendations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Maintain well-stocked shelves by organizing and restocking merchandise as needed.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing for customers.
• Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Experience in a grocery store setting is a plus but not mandatory.
