BEACHCITY is a newly opened surf brand clothing store located in Seaport Village. We specialize in high end brands like Vuori, Patagonia, Brixton, Z Supply and Vissla. Seaport Village is a beautiful and tranquil place to work with steady year around traffic and happy vacationing customers. The pay range for sales associates is: $16.30 to $19 The pay range for managers is: $20 to $25 We are looking for super motivated and outgoing people that can help grown the BEACHCITY brand and open our new store in Seaport Village. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES * Create and maintain a "Total Customer Satisfaction" culture by ensuring you and your team is 100% trained * Make the store your own! Set its strategic direction to reach sales goals and to create happy customers * Actively maintain the store appearance including keeping merchandise neatly organized and attractively displayed. * Maintain positive employee relations and open lines of communication * Communicate with General Manager and Owner on coaching strategy and conflict resolution * Ensure that you and your team accurately receive inventory in the POS system in a quick and timely manner. * Monitor inventory movement to maintain stock and to markdown and return slow movers. * Be willing to do everything you would ask other staff members to do, cleaning, taking out the trash, vacuuming, etc. REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS Retail experience Proficiency with POS systems, inventory entry and credit card processing * Understanding of how to develop staff through experience in coaching, counseling, etc. * Knowledge of retail operations such as sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention * Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a retail business, which entails working most weekends and holidays * Ability to lift: 20 lbs. constantly; occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; push or pull 50 lbs. occasionally; stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally.
