Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience. * Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to highlight features and benefits. * Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and stock levels. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system. * Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including stocking shelves and arranging displays. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. * Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Proficient in cash register operation and POS systems. * Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately. * A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to enhance sales performance. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift stock as needed.
