Full description of the position

The Sales Project Specialist is an established performer that works to facilitate and support sales functions and projects by providing accurate data reporting and project support as defined by the business. This role will be responsible for being a liaison between sales and project teams to drive project success through data reporting and project coordination. Duties and Responsibilities of the Position: * Support administrative and program requirements to drive sales initiatives. * Maintain departmental records and prepare special and recurring reports. * Collaborate between various departments and customers to ensure effective implementation and communication on all programs, processes, and procedures. * Work on projects and assignments as part of a larger cross-functional working team. * Build reports and proposals for sales teams, customers, and/or outside agencies to aid in implementation of projects and programs. * Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts. * Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems. * Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges. * May prepare and help manage sample processes and order shipments. * Perform other duties as needed. Required Experience and Education: * Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. * 2-4 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Competencies: * Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards. * Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. * Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. * High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. * Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
