Part Time Account Manager - Worcester Business Journal Job Description Do you enjoy working with local businesses on their marketing and advertising strategy with a flexible, part-time schedule? Worcester Business Journal is the established voice for business in Central MA for over 35 years, and is looking to grow its client facing team. Are you someone who is organized and outgoing, who can dig into the details to help drive growth, through our many digital, email, events and print offerings? We are seeking a candidate who values a close knit team atmosphere and wants to make a difference in the growing Worcester/Central MA region. We're a growing company, and we'd like you to grow with the organization. Our ideal candidate can execute successful sales strategies across multiple platforms, can do smart prospecting and delivers excellent follow up and attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must.This position offers flexible hours that can fit your schedule while you get paid for results. Anticipated time commitment can range from as low as 10 to 25 hours per week, depending on the project and your availability. Key responsibilities include: * Develop business by identifying new opportunities through prospecting, networking and relationship-building. * Provide exemplary service, maintain professional relationships with all personnel at clients and their ad agencies. * Recording and managing all customer communications through our CRM system. * Working independently to reach sales goals. * Conducting most transactions by phone, but periodically in-person where you discuss clients marketing needs and deliver presentations and proposals. Requirements: * Excellent written/verbal communication, and good interpersonal skills. * Proficient computer skills (Office/Google Suite, CRM) * A high level of integrity and professionalism * Some B2B sales experience preferred Job Type: Part-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Work Location: In personNew England Business Media
