What You Will Do: As Sales Manager for SilcsBio, you will be the driving force behind our revenue growth, responsible for connecting researchers and pharmaceutical innovators with our advanced molecular modeling tools and services, including: * SILCS-SM Technology: Identify druggable hot spots for small molecules on protein and RNA targets, perform database screening, and drive ligand optimization. * SILCS-Biologics: Advance biologics development by mapping protein-protein interactions and identifying optimal excipient formulations. * CGenFF: Rapid topology and parameter assignment for novel molecules to enhance computational modeling. * Custom Computational Drug Design Services: Tailored solutions for unique research challenges. Your role is to ensure that SilcsBio's innovative tools reach the researchers who need them most, while working closely with our scientific and development teams to guide the commercialization of future products. Your Day-to-Day Will Include: * Building and managing a high-value sales pipeline, focused on pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as academic research institutions. * Engaging directly with customers --via calls, in-person meetings, and site visits--to understand their challenges and demonstrate how SilcsBio's tools can help solve them. * Driving the entire sales process , from identifying prospects and presenting solutions to negotiating and closing deals. * Gathering and relaying customer insights to influence product development and marketing strategies. * Collaborating with SilcsBio 's leadership and technical teams to ensure customer success and identify new opportunities for growth. What You Bring to the Table: * A proven track record in sales, with required experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or scientific software industries. * A passion for talking to people directly --picking up the phone, meeting face-to-face, and building real relationships. You know that great sales come from human connections, not just from emails or online searches. * Strong technical acumen , with the ability to quickly learn and articulate the value of complex scientific tools. * A results-driven mindset, with a focus on accountability, problem-solving, and closing deals. * A willingness and ability to travel regularly to engage with customers in person. * An entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive, resourceful approach to achieving sales goals.
