Overview

: We represent a major Financial Services marketing company looking to add a Business Development Specialist to their team. The Business Development team is the main source of growth for this organization. You will be calling on financial advisors nationwide to join our network. The role involves uncovering opportunities and securing next steps in the recruitment process, setting the stage for the VP of Sales Development to build relationships.

Responsibilities

include:

• Generate new relationships with financial advisors by reaching out via cold calls
• Build list of qualified contacts through research, warm/cold calls, and emails
• Execute marketing campaigns through e-mail, webinars and mail processes
• Regularly enhancing sales skills through independent learning and collaboration with peers
• MUST BE COMFORABLE WITH COLD CALLING Experience you 'll bring:
• Driven, motivated, competitive with an interest in sales
• Exceptional communication skills, able to interact and connect with different personality types and levels
• Strong time management and scheduling abilities, with a proven capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
• Quick learner of advisor-facing value propositions, with the capability to effectively communicate and advance discussions Bonus Points:
• Previous experience in the financial industry and/or sales experience
