The role is focused on relationship- building with a consultative selling approach. It is responsible for renewing and then finding expansion opportunities within an assigned book of business. A day in a life includes making sales calls, continuously updating the CRM database, account planning, prospecting within the assigned book of business for upsell/cross-sell opportunities, partnering with internal legal department on sales contracts,and meeting sales targets. To be successful in this role you should be able to work both independently and with internal teams such as marketing or sales operations. You should also be able to collaborate well with product teams during the proof of concept stage and then move quickly into offering license opportunities to existing accounts within the assigned book of business. This role is responsible for executing a comprehensive sales plan to meet/exceed established sales quota. In this role, one is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all sales activities and orders in the sales database; taking sales from initial interest to order processed through system updates. Ways You Will Contribute to Our Collective Success * Managing book of business worth $2 million+ * Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas. * Forecast Accurately between -5% to 10+% monthly and quarterly. * Familiarize yourself with all products and services offered by Accusoft. * Build a renewal and expansion strategy for the assigned book of business. * Keep a well maintained CRM record for each account, or opportunity within the assigned book of business. * Attend networking activities or trade shows to further relationships with existing clients and find expansion opportunities. * Understand the customer's business and technical needs; pursue opportunities for Accusoft Software expansion and integration. * Craft business proposals and contracts. * Negotiate using value and consultative selling methods. * Appropriately communicate prospective client and client feedback back to Product, Marketing and Sales teams. * Develop a comprehensive sales plan to meet/exceed established quota; research and identify target customers where potential sales growth is possible and create an operational plan for each. * Draft a territory plan, adapt sales pitches, create presentations, give input on reference material, and other documents as required * Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients. * Up to 15% travel will be required to visit top-tier accounts and tradeshow events within assigned vertical(s). The Background and Experience You Need to Support Success * Three plus years of related experience * Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or related field preferred * Past experience in a full cycle sales role. * Demonstrated success in selling high technology software, hardware, IT products, document management to large and medium sized firms * Experience working with c-suite contacts; entrepreneurial spirit with ownership of business opportunity * Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services. * Great networking skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
