Based in The Carolinas, we have assembled a strong and dedicated team of employees that believe in the future of the health-conscience consumer. Brands include Hemp- Derived Beverages, Infused Waters and various flavor-forward non-alcoholic drinks. Job Overview The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing market performance, and developing key accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to coach and support a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in achieving their sales targets. Additionally, the position focuses on identifying opportunities within the territory, managing a sales pipeline, and fostering relationships with key accounts. This position will oversee 6+ employees in OH, KY, IL & IN, and may expand into further territories in the future. The ideal candidate will live in Cleveland or Chicago. Key Responsibilities 1. Territory Revenue Management (40%) * Achieve monthly revenue targets across assigned markets. * Identify and address account gaps and uncover new opportunities. * Proactively resolve market challenges and provide strategic solutions. * Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, clearly communicating opportunities across the sales team. * Track and pursue revenue opportunities effectively. 2. Territory Team Management (40%) * Lead and manage a team of FDCO Business Development Representatives (BDRs). * Train and coach team members on sales best practices and FDCO standards. * Hold team members accountable for achieving monthly KPIs. * Prioritize coaching opportunities and tasks that drive revenue growth. * Utilize Encompass ERP to monitor and manage BDR performance and productivity. 3. Key Account Development (20%) * Identify and capitalize on chain account opportunities within the territory. * Build relationships with key buyers and establish FDCO as a trusted partner. * Develop and execute strategies to grow accounts across multiple channels. Qualifications and Experience * Minimum of 5 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales team management, with a preference for Beverage Alcohol (Bev-Alc) experience. * Proficiency in using VIP SRS or Encompass ERP in a sales management capacity. * Strong ability to manage teams, meet revenue targets, and build customer relationships. * Proven track record in pipeline development and key account management. * Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
