Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase overall sales.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure that merchandise is displayed attractively on the sales floor.
• Assist in supervising sales associates and providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques.
• Apply retail math skills to manage inventory and assist with pricing strategies effectively.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and maintain a high standard of store presentation. Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within a grocery store setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
• Proficiency in basic math and retail math concepts for effective inventory management.
• Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Experience in supervising or leading a team is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on active listening.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
