Los Angeles Distributing is a premium snack and beverage distributor specializing in healthier brands as well as craft beer. Covering the Greater Los Angeles area & San Diego, LA Distributing supplies retailers with products such as Kombucha, Juice, Premium Waters, Plant-based snacks, Cold Brew Coffee, and Local Craft Breweries. SUMMARY The Sales Associate's main priority is bringing delivered products within arms reach of our consumers, presenting brands in an effective and aesthetically pleasing way, managing stock and code dates and selling additional opportunities to store buyers (for example displays). In addition to Merchandising and Sales, the Sales Associate also Prospects potential new customers as well as maintains ongoing Supplier relationships in order to build Sales Associate capabilities to service a route in the future. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Merchandising - Accountable for over achieving metrics as it relates to inventory management, Out of Stock and Out of Code thresholds - Manage customer expectations and best in class service regarding in store execution, supply chain and accounting - Know where your driver is servicing. Respond to your Territory Sales Manager needs. Sales -Key driver for achievement of revenue and distribution objectives within managed house accounts (50 total) - Accountable for over achieving metrics as it relates to Sales Effectiveness (collecting an order & having it delivered at the correct time) - Primary collaborator with Key Account team in order to effectively bring supplier programming to life and build LAD success Prospecting - Armed with our best in class catalog, brand samples and brand selling story and getting new accounts interested and ready to buy - Subject Matter Expert that effectively communicates LAD value proposition to deliver distribution and revenue Supplier Relationships/Communication - Establish and maintain regular and ongoing communication / route rides with core suppliers to successfully implement programming - Understand route accounting software reporting in order to present and provide information to suppliers Be comfortable communicating via email in a professional and courteous matter.
