Job Title: Full or Part-Time Account Assistant Location: Des Moines Embassy Club, Des Moines, IA

: The Des Moines Embassy Club is a prestigious private social and dining club dedicated to offering exceptional service and exclusive experience to our members. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Account Assistant to support our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Assist with maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries
• Prepare and review balance sheets and other financial statements
• Support payroll processing, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Assist in preparing reports for management review
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Club Management

Qualifications

:

• Proven experience in accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, balance sheets, and payroll
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High degree of confidentiality and professionalism Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
