Internal Sales and Customer Service Representative Location: Madison Heights, Michigan Reports to: Sales Manager / Customer Service Manager Company: GRIPPS North America LLC About GRIPPS Global At GRIPPS Global, we design and manufacture world-leading tool tethering and dropped object prevention solutions, used across the construction, energy, mining, and utilities sectors. Role Overview The Internal Sales and Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting sales growth by maintaining strong relationships with customers, processing orders, answering product inquiries, and providing excellent post- sale service. This role will collaborate closely with the external sales team, distributors, and operational teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities * Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and web, providing prompt and accurate information on GRIPPS products and services. * Generate leads by telemarketing * Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner using CRM and ERP systems. * Support the external sales team with quotations, lead follow-up, and administrative tasks. * Identify and qualify sales opportunities, and proactively follow up on leads to drive revenue growth. * Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer records in CRM. * Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely order dispatch and resolve any delivery issues. * Handle customer returns, warranty claims, and complaints with a professional and solutions-focused approach. * Assist with customer onboarding and training on GRIPPS product lines when necessary. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Sales and Customer Service department. Key Skills and Attributes * Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a customer-first mindset. * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Solution-oriented and proactive in solving problems. * Able to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and follow-up. * Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. * Team player who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
